Our Projects

The Rotary Club of Springboro is comprised of People of Action. Our Motto, "Service Above Self" fuels the projects we undertake and the impact we make.

Each year our club invests time and resources in several projects benefitting Springboro and area residents including the relief Project, Adopt a Family, Senior Citizen Outreach, Youth Scholarships, Summer Reading Program and Warm Coat Drive. Every year we seek out new ways to help the community in other Rotary areas of focus.

International Programs

Rotary Youth Exchange Program

Exposure to new cultures and customs is a powerful way to promote global understanding and peace. Our club sponsored a high school student, Angel Sanchez from Spain over the 2014-2015 school season, engaging in a meaningful, inspiring experience for Angel, and the families he stayed with. Springboro Rotary continues to look at ways to support this program going forward.

Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls

Ending Polio

Rotary, along with its partners, has reduced polio cases by 99 percent worldwide since its first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979. Rotary has contributed more than $1.3 billion and countless volunteer hours to immunize more than 2.5 billion children in 122 countries. We are close to eradicating polio, but we aren't there just yet. Springboro Rotarians are looking to increase support within our local club to facilitate this important initiative. You can learn more about it at: End Polio Now.
